What is it about this society that we seem to obsess over working hard to get whatever we want? Do you want to know the irony in this? Some people barely work hard and get whatever they want easily. Is it just me, or does it tick you off to see people thriving without working as hard? This led me to believe that “I work hard for” is a limiting belief rather than something I should strive to do.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think there is a lazy way to succeed. But I think that some people out there work very hard and achieve very little. That’s why I decided to explore this and other limiting beliefs that we create in our minds. As you may know by now, this site is about manifesting and using various tools to do so. But sometimes, no matter how many tools we have to use to manifest, blocks such as limiting beliefs can prevent even the most consistent person. So, to know what beliefs are limiting you, it is necessary to point them out. I think that the phrase “I work hard for” becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. So, even for straightforward tasks, you end up working hard for them.
Therefore, we need to rid ourselves of this limiting belief preventing the results we want. Remember, the mind can be for or against you. So, if you want your mind, or inner critic, to be supportive, you have to feed it the right words. Even if you have to do hard work, tricking your mind into believing that things are easy can make you more prosperous and make work more enjoyable. As a matter of fact, I think that this is why some other people have it easier than us. Instead of “working hard” for what they want, they think of easy ways to succeed.
Let’s try to rid ourselves of this limiting belief over the next month. Instead of working hard for what you want, start thinking, “things come easily and frequently to me.” As we continue to rid ourselves of limiting beliefs, our manifestations will be more accessible.
