“I’m not qualified to.”
Wait a second. Before you go on with that thought, let me interrupt you. You do realize that what you’re telling yourself is manifesting into reality. So, if you’re feeling and believing that you aren’t qualified to do something, this will eventually show up in your life.
Many people never give themselves half a chance to become something other than the person they are and instead chase a mundane life of paying bills and barely surviving. Life is more than just the job you work. I’m sure you have passions within you that are dying to get out and show the world.
You may feel like there is not a market for what you do in your country. Well, have you not realized we live in a time of global exchange? If you can’t find the customers you want in your own country, find them elsewhere.
Stop putting limitations on who you are and who you can become. You should always give yourself the chance to fail forward. It’s how we learn as human beings. Even walking starts with a lot of falling. Give yourself permission to do bad — very bad — until all of a sudden, you are great!
That first time you “popped a wheelie” on a bike probably wasn’t intentional. You probably couldn’t stop the bike and ended up somersaulting into your neighbor’s bushes. But now, you are probably a daredevil popping wheelies on bicycles or even motorbikes. Who would have ever thought that that first crash into your neighbor’s bushes would bring you this far?
Stop the BS mental conversation that keeps you in stages of limiting beliefs. Start to become your own best friend and watch what unfolds. Just because you are not qualified to do something at the present moment doesn’t mean that it will remain that way. Put your mind to your goal, and you will become qualified. And trust me when I tell you there will be a lot of failure on the pathway to success.
Let’s try to work on eradicating this limiting belief over the next month. Instead of harping on your lack of qualifications, start to tell yourself a new, encouraging story. “I am qualified as I need to be for now and getting better every day” is what you should tell yourself. Then you’ll be well on you’re well on your way to the success you crave.
