For some reason, everyone seems to be afraid to fail. But failure is the way to success. Think about it. When you start walking, you fall a lot. When you start riding a bike, you fall a lot. But as you keep at whatever you’re doing, you get good at it. Some even get superb at it. The bottom line – you have to lose to win. It’s part of the design.
Unfortunately, this obsession with perfection keeps many people from progressing. I recall when I used to run track in high school. Even if you got out of the blocks carelessly, you could still win the race. It’s not where you start but where you end up, and falling is part of that equation.
Yes, you may be struggling with a business you’re trying to build. Yes, you may be having financial troubles. Most importantly, you learn from the failures and build back stronger than ever.
“What if I fail?” You’re going to fail. But that doesn’t make you a failure. Pick yourself up and keep going. As long as you have life in you, it’s not the end.
Let’s rid ourselves of this limiting belief over the next month. Instead of fearing failure, let’s tackle it by the reigns until it rarely ever shows up in our lives. And when it does, we will tackle it again and keep it moving.
