It’s been quite some time since I’ve used ginseng. I stopped using it initially because I kept seeing it being advertised for male erectile problems and I thought to myself, “I’ll never have that problem so I don’t think this is the herb for me.”
Over the years, I’ve read that ginseng is useful for other things besides that issue. Therefore, I think I will start drinking it again. One thing that appealed to me is its use in improving brain function. I introduced Gotu kola on the blog a while back and it also helps with improving brain function. I also like the fact that it reduces inflammation in the body and can improve the immune system. Another great thing is that it improves energy levels. This last reason is a great reason for me to start using it again because I’ve been quite sluggish lately after ending my 20-year love affair with coffee.
