I first learned about wheatgrass when I decided to drink a green colored drink from a natural herb store. I figured it would be disgusting because of the color, so I braced myself for the nasty flavor. Ironically, it was delicious and fruity tasting. I believe the name of the drink was called Green Machine. From then on, I kept drinking those types of drinks.
When I went to the gym, I noticed that they served fresh wheatgrass, so I decided to get a dose, no sugar or additives. It tasted like grass smells when it is cut, but I felt like it was doing something to improve my health, so I kept drinking it.
I don’t quite know what the long-term effects of wheatgrass are, but I will say that it seems to give my skin a healthier look and I feel energized when I drink it. I’m not fond of vegetables, so I usually take in wheatgrass regularly to make up for my lack of vegetable intake.
