How often have you been told you aren’t good enough by someone in authority? Is it as much as you tell it to yourself? Probably not. Unfortunately, we may hear awful words like this from a parent or boss a few times. But these words seem to be on replay in our minds for the rest of our lives unless we do something about it. Some people try to ignore the comments. But deep down inside, the poison is still there. It may come up in the form of severe depression or drug dependency. It would help if you didn’t ignore these and many other insults that may have your self-esteem in the dumps. Instead, it’s a good idea to use audio affirmations to get rid of this unwanted programming.
WHAT ARE AUDIO AFFIRMATIONS?
It is much simpler than it sounds. It is simply a way to listen to positive suggestions repeatedly until they become a part of your subconscious programming. Eventually, they will wipe out the negative ones currently floating around in your head. One form of audio affirmation is listening to apps or Youtube videos that repeat positive affirmations or provide you with a guided meditation. Some of these may cost a small fee or no fee at all. Other audio affirmations include music frequencies. There aren’t usually words, but the pitches of the sounds on the frequency allow you to clear the bad info in your mind. One more type of audio affirmation is the kind you can create yourself by recording your own voice making positive affirmations.
HOW DO AUDIO AFFIRMATIONS WORK?
Ideally, audio affirmations are meant to take the current garbage out of your mind and replace it with much more productive, supportive info. For instance, if people told you that you will never be successful and have never felt successful, audio affirmations help you transform into a successful person. They aren’t meant to be a one-and-done process, however. For best results, it is a good idea to listen to affirmations for 21-30 days, preferable before you go to bed or when you awaken in the morning. This is because it takes at least that long to become a habit. After reprogramming your mind for success, your subconscious will start seeking out successful things and people to make you successful. Your mind will stop sabotaging you and become your best friend in time.
