ATLANTA – Written by M.L. Childs, CEO, Author, Screenwriter, Copywriter, Blogger and Historian
Last month, I introduced you the 3-minute unplug. That technique was meant to quiet the mind from mental chatter gone wild.
Our minds are like computers and sometimes it gets overloaded with thoughts and can run inefficiently in a similar way that an overloaded computer would.
You have to clear the cache, close excess open windows and sometimes even restart the computer to get it to act normal again. Our brains are the same and we sometimes have to “shut it off” in order to make it run better.
The 3-minute unplug is similar to meditation but it is shorter and the emphasis is on making the mind completely quiet – no thoughts at all. The goal in each session is to quiet the mental chatter so that you can start to train the brain to focus.
This month’s technique is to balance your chakras using crystals that match each chakra point. Balance will help improve the ability to attract your desires in the manifestation process.
Chakras are energy fields at seven points on the body. There are 7 chakras and they are as follows:
Sahasrara – Crown Chakra – Corresponds with spirituality
Ajna – Third Eye Chakra – Corresponds with awareness
Vishuddha – Throat Chakra – Corresponds with communication
Anahata – Heart Chakra – Corresponds with love and healing
Manipura – Solar Plexus Chakra – Corresponds with wisdom and power
Svadhishthana – Sacral Chakra – Corresponds with sexuality and creativity
Muladhara – Root Chakra – Corresponds with basic trust
Each of these chakras must be balanced in order to live a productive life and, most importantly, to manifest your desires. Some people usually have overactive or underactive chakras.
Not all chakras are imbalanced. Sometimes there may be just one or two out of sync but it is wreaking havoc on all of your chakras and your aura; thus making it nearly impossible to attract your desires.
Meditation and yoga can begin to balance the chakras but you can also use crystals to balance them. There are two methods you can use – the contact-free method and the contact method.
Contact-free Method
Both the contact-free and the contact method require the use of crystals; however, the contact-free method allows you to use crystals in your vicinity and the contact method requires that you use the crystals on your body at each chakra point.
The most important thing to do in both processes is to choose crystals that match each chakra point. Below is a sample of what I typically use but you can use other crystals as long as they match the chakras.
Crown chakra – Selenite or Clear Quartz
Third Eye Chakra – Amethyst
Throat Chakra – Lapiz Lazuli
Heart Chakra – Malachite or Rose Quartz
Solar Plexus Chakra – Pyrite
Sacral Chakra – Tiger’s Eye
Root Chakra – Garnet
Using the contact-free method, you can lay these 7 crystals out on your nightstand as you relax on your bed meditating; or, you can lay them on a table or desk in front of you as you are seated.
You can leave the crystals out for a period of at least an hour each session. This will begin balancing your chakras.
Contact Method
The contact method is similar to the contact-free method. The difference is that you place each of the crystals on your body at the chakra points.
For instance, place the amethyst on your forehead (Third eye chakra), the malachite on your heart chakra, the pyrite on your solar plexus chakra and so on and so forth.
It’s best to do this lying down and you may have to use an adhesive such as tape or an adhesive square to keep the crystals in place.
Try this method daily over the next thirty days in order to make it a habit. Then, come back and share what your experiences have been in the comments.
By then, I will have another mystical technique for success in the next post for New Month, New You.
What are your thoughts on using this method? Post a comment in the comment section.
