Music is a great thing. I’m not knocking artists for the type of music they create. However, just as people can spread gossip and bad vibes in conversation, music can do the same.
If you recall from my book, The Missing Link, I discuss negative programming from television and lyrics. Whether we realize it or not, these words can place a spell on us.
If you keep listening to a specific type of music, you may find yourself being programmed in a subtle way. The subconscious is very receptive, and you have to guard it against things that you don’t want to manifest in your life.
Listen to the Right Music
As I said before, music can be a great thing. Therefore, it’s not a bad idea to listen to what inspires you to be better and to do better.
If you follow my page on Facebook, you will see that I occasionally post inspirational songs. Sometimes these are familiar tunes that you may have heard before.
I try to listen closely to lyrics because sometimes we are so caught up in the sound of the music that we forget to listen actively. Some songs have some great words that inspire.
It is good to listen to these songs on the way to work, at the gym, or when relaxing at home.
Other great song choices are classical and jazz. Most of the time, these songs don’t have words to them, and it’s great to listen to the melodies. Gospel music can also be a source of inspiration.
One other type of music that I recently fell in love with is sounds designed specifically to improve your vibration. You can find such music on Youtube or download it in apps on your phone.
Some may have white noise combined with suggestions that only the subconscious can pick up on. These sounds can start to reprogram your mind toward positive thinking and positive outcomes.
Try It For Yourself
I encourage you to listen to better music this month. Minimize music with toxic lyrics. After doing this for a month, come back and share your experiences in the comments.
By then, I will have another mystical technique for success in the next post for New Month, New You.
